A long time ago, I posted the blue painting ("i fucking hate you") on a livejournal forum and I got this response :
"I've been there, too. except i was the guy. I thought she didn't like me, and that's why she'd turn her back to me... i'd stare at it and wonder for hours whether she'd push me away if i got closer."
And I was really struck by that image and the fact that maybe, for once, I shouldn't do everything from a woman's perspective

Not to be even more vain that I usually am, but was the male quoted in your post moi? IT sounds like the kind of self-referencing crap I'd usually proffer. Of course, that wouldn't be good enough. Then I'd have to point out in some vaguely inquiring manner that it was I fact me.
So...was it? It's been so long, and that was always one of my favourites. Please tell me I can buy the original blue copy?
And narcissism aside, you're absolutely right: I unconsciously expect everything you do and post on here to be from your own (female) perspective. This image really sticks on a second viewing for me for the fact that it is a departure for you.
Thank you.
